Revolution Hydroponics has everything you need to grow your plants all year & indoors!

“Maybe being the mascot was really busy, and maybe the costume smelled like sweaty socks and mildew,” Waheed Ameen said. “But it was so cool to stand in front of an excited crowd and represent something people love about Bonaventure.”

What do you get when you take five of the hottest musical acts from the area and put them in a large room with a bar and PA system? Well, a rock show, of course. Odeum Entertainment’s first Southern Tier Unsigned Musician’s Showcase brought a variety of performances to the Olean American Legion on Saturday and Sunday, ranging from the soothing acoustic strumming of Luke and Angee to the sweltering riffs and rapid-fire rim shots of Led by the Blind.

Get transported back to a bygone era with these two stars!

Ok everyone...here is what you can expect from the first Southern Tier Unsigned Musicians Showcase, Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3 at the Olean American Legion!

An event to find new talent, give them a chance to get some exposure, and help the Wounded Warrior Project all at once!

The Event Center at the Seneca Allegany Casino was once again a packed house Saturday night as Blues guitar virtuoso Kenny Wayne Shepherd and his band rocked the room.

From the opening note to the final chord, Shepherd let everyone know that he is one of the masters. His ability to take on the solo, and play seamlessly throughout, made it arguably the best Blues performance going on in the region this past weekend.

Scrunching her face into scowls and scratching her head, mezzo-soprano Lorraine Yaros-Sullivan took on a new character with veritably every turn of the page in an intimate performance at Bromeley Family Theatre. From a confused, love –starved girl to a horrid stepmother, Sullivan told her tales to the tunes of Georges Bizet, Gioachino Rossini, Benjamin Britten, Richard Strauss, and the shimmering sounds of her accompanist, Kirk Severtson, on piano.

I never thought I would get done in by a rubber ball, especially not while I was learning to defend myself during my first experience with Kenpo Karate. That green, squishy, bouncy ball kicked my butt all over the place, but thankfully, I wasn’t the only one.

The Strikeforce Mens & Womens belts were up for grabs Saturday night!

Another great show for the Seneca Allegany Hotel and Casino

International Master Class offered at Pitt-Brad

Once again, Pitt Bradford brings international talent to the region.

The UFC's first event in 3D will be tonight!

Attard’s on North Union Street in Olean is a small and classy family-owned restaurant that is known for its diverse menu which offers American favorites, Italian, Lebanese, Greek and even Ethiopian food, to name a few!

Guitarist, pianist and singer CONNIE HAMILTON of Nunda grew up with classical music (her mother was a church organist, a proficient accompanist and music teacher). Then s-t-e-r-e-o hit her house and Judy Collins, Peter, Paul and Mary, Joan Baez, Roberta Flack, Cher and Julie Andrews became her idols. She taught herself how to play guitar so she could sing their wonderful songs. She’s performed at many weddings, concerts and church functions, and piano for the Ossian Presbyterian Church where she just started a children’s choir.

If you enjoy live, acoustic music then put the monthly ACOUSTIC OPEN MIC night at Black-Eyed Susan Acoustic Café on your calendar. This month, the evening takes place on March 3rd.

"We are a bunch of guys that love what we do. We love live music by musicians that love to play it.” Rich Williams of the legendary band, KANSAS.

Country singer Sara Evans performs at the Seneca Allegany Casino!

A scruffy, unshaven, beanie-clad Bradley Skistimas took the stage on Thursday in standard emo attire: a blue dress shirt, silver tie, and skinny black jeans. His persona clashed with the tightly polished image that hung on the large publicity banner behind him that portrayed Skistimas as a clean-cut, All-American artist. At first, it seemed that maybe it was just his attire that was out of place, but as the night continued, it became apparent that Skistimas’ enthusiasm was also on leave this evening.
