All I can say is I'm surprised my stomach isn't ripped in half. The comedic genius known as Howie Mandel blew me away with his perfect timing and improvisational ingenuity. I as a spectator did not know what to expect with an old school comedian like Howie. He built his reputation in the 80's and 90's with his catch phrases, filterless mouth, and unique vocal talents but now I can truly say I know who he is.

While Howie was prepared to tell a few jokes here and there, it was the crowd that made the biggest impact on the show. Starting with a parade of ladies walking down the isle with suite cases spelling out "<3 U HOWIE" written on the front of them. Halting in the middle of what turned out to be a 5 minute joke, Howie was surprised and happy by the gesture. "What is this, a scrap-booking parade?" He said as the ladies walked by. It was at the point I knew it was going to be a great show, cause he turned to the security officer and said "you're security? There were a group of people running at me with suite cases and where were you?"

The night continued to be one spontaneous moment after another. Howie talked to audience members about every day occurrences like styling his "back-door" and doctor visits. If there was an award for best joke it would go to his next bit.
