For over a year Don Lucho’s Mexican Restaurant has been serving residents of Allegany hearty portions of authentic Mexican cuisine.Don Lucho’s impressive menu and service has made it a popular lunch and dinner spot in the Twin Tiers for families, local students, and patrons of all ages. The Mexican music adds to the festive atmosphere that many have come to enjoy.
Fajitas, Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Steaks, Seafood, and a series of house specials are featured on Don Lucho’s extensive menu. The restaurant offers complimentary chips and salsa, and serves Mexican deserts and Bottled Mexican Sodas that add to the authentic cuisine. Located at 76 West Main Street, Don Lucho’s plans to kick start 2011 with fun, festive Mexican entertainment perfect for the whole family.
General Manager, Stephanie Skandar stated that the Mariachi Zelaya Band will be performing from five to eight at night on February 10th to start off their Valentine’s Day celebrations. The band will be playing troubadour style, which means they will be traveling to each table while they play adding to the experience.
The band will return to Don Lucho’s on May 12th to celebrate the two year anniversary of Don Lucho’s opening and Mother’s Day celebrations that weekend.“Expect Don Lucho’s Mexican Restaurant to continue to offer quality service and food to our regular patrons in 2011. Our cliental has been expanding and we hope to continue to increase business. We appreciate our customers and hope to see more this year,” stated Skandar.
Don Lucho’s is open Monday-Thursdays from 11:00 until 8:00 p.m. and until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays. On Sundays, Don Lucho’s is open from noon until eight o’clock.Their speedy service makes Don Lucho’s a great place for lunch, and specials are offered from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00.
